Inspired by the sensation of running hands through the ocean, Harmony reflects a surface in flux, parting and reforming, never fully settling. Brief openings reveal what lies beneath, then close again, leaving only a trace.
Opposing movements unfold at once. The upper and lower portions shift in different directions, creating a tension that does not resolve, but holds. These crosscurrents coexist, forming a rhythm that feels both unstable and whole. Harmony emerges here as balance within movement.
Layers of paint are built and softened over time, allowing forms and fragments of color to surface and recede. Light moves through the composition, appearing momentarily before dissolving. Nothing is fixed.
Composed of six panels, the work expands across the wall as a connected whole. Each holds its own variation while remaining part of a larger rhythm. Hung with space between them, the composition opens and allows the eye to move fluidly.
Unframed, the piece maintains a sense of openness, extending into the surrounding space.
The work invites a slower kind of looking, not to define what is there, but to experience what is moving through it.
